Dr. Ariel Benor, MD, FACOG, is a gynecologist whose mission is to provide the highest level of compassionate, personalized care. He aims to treat women using the most up-to-date medical research available and is experienced with a range of gynecological conditions including pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, menopause, infertility, and PCOS. Dr. Benor’s in-depth, specialized training and practice has allowed him to care for women at different phases of life. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Maimonides Medical Center, one of the busiest labor wards in the country. From there, Dr. Benor focused on fertility: he joined the Center for Human Reproduction in New York City, a fertility center under the leadership of Dr. Gleicher and Dr. Barad, two world-renowned fertility specialists. There, Dr. Benor managed complex reproductive issues from infertility to premature menopause.
Subsequently, Dr. Benor worked at the NIH under another world-renowned infertility specialist, Dr. Decherney. As a member of the gynecology division, he treated the gynecological issues of patients with chronic medical conditions, including sickle cell disease and immunodeficiencies. He became skilled at managing a wide array of reproductive disorders.
In addition to his bedside manner, Dr. Benor is widely regarded for his academic research. He has presented research at the annual ASRM, PCRS, and ACOG conferences and has published papers in the Journal for Assisted Reproduction and Genetics and Fertility and Sterility.
Dr. Benor holds a BA from UC Berkeley and an MD from Tel Aviv University. He lives in Potomac, Maryland with his wife and two children. He enjoys traveling, exploring, rock climbing, tennis, swimming, and hiking.
